    Gyms and Affiliated Sports

Sports clubs combine a property risk, a liability risk and, in many cases, a volunteer committee running it all. Pavilions, clubhouses, grounds equipment and bar stock sit alongside the injuries that come with contact and ball sports, and the responsibilities of officers and trustees.

Governing bodies often arrange some cover for affiliated clubs and players, but it may not extend to the club's own buildings, equipment or wider liabilities. Knowing what the governing body scheme includes is usually the first step to working out what the club still needs.
